web site.

Earlier this year I posted to RAS about the 4th annual "Dust Up" in
Ephrata, WA. The event this year will be geared towards Badges,
Records, and introducing newer pilots to Cross-Country flying. The
website, http://www.thedustup.info has been live for awhile now, with
links to some of our presentations and seminar materials (which we've
been presenting at local club meetings this winter & spring).
As of today, we now have a Registration Form live on the site:
http://www.thedustup.info/Registration_Form.html
The event is shaping up nicely: We'll have at least 3 high-
performance two-seat aircraft available for mentor flights. We'll
have Rollin "the SSA Badge Dude" on-site to give a seminar on flying &
submitting your Badge claims (as well as to help you process any badge
flights you do make). There will be a cadre of experienced XC pilots
on-hand to interact with. And, of course, plenty of camaraderie and
fun at the SGC Soaring Foundation Clubhouse** !
All soaring pilots from post-solo students to experienced gilder-
guiders are invited to attend! We hope to see some of you there,
--Kevin Finke and Noel Wade

**NOTE: As in past years, the bunk-beds in the clubhouse will be
reserved for event volunteers/staff. However the large kitchen,
living room areas, bathrooms, and showers will be open to all
participants.
